As a shy 18 year old, I was reluctant to share in a group but I looked forward to attending every Tuesday night to listen and learn. I found a family of women who showed me love, mentored me, poured wisdom into me and prayed with me while also encouraging me to continue showing up. Sisterhood gave me a home away from home and I am so grateful that I said YES to an invite and said YES to being a part of Citizen Heights. Knowing I have a family of Christian women who I can lean on has made the hard times easier to walk through.
