Heights Academy, a ministry of Citizen Heights Church, is currently gauging interest and input for a
potential K-8th expansion in January 2022! We are so excited to announce that we are currently
accepting applications for enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year.
Our vision is to offer a world-class educational institution that nurtures a child’s whole person
with a faith-based, fun-filled, supportive, confidence-building environment.
At the same time, we desire to provide parents and families with the care, input, convenience,
excellence, and affordability that changes lives.
Initially, we’ll have capacity for 100 students, at our beautifully renovated facility with large, bright classrooms, state of the art auditorium and expansive sports-field, all situated on our centrally located 6.5 acre campus.
Plan with us, pray with us, join with us and help us, as we inspire confident, bold, happy and well-grounded children at The Heights Academy.
We are currently gathering interest from the community and would love to hear feedback from you! Please fill out our survey if you answer “yes” to any of the below questions, and help us meet the needs of our community. Thank you for your interest and support!
Are you rethinking public school as a fit for your child and family?
Have you found private and/or Christian schools to be inaccessible or unaffordable?
Is it time to expand the support and opportunity your homeschooler needs?
Have you been concerned by the growing trend of public schools overstepping their roles while influencing your child’s values and worldview?
Are you a teacher interested in helping build a strong Christian school environment in Loudoun County?
Michael & Heather Giroux
Lead Pastors of Citizen Heights Church
Michael and Heather have each been deeply impacted by faith-based educational institutions with a
passion for excellence. Both attended Christian day schools, High Schools, College, and Michael
received his law degree from a well-known Christian university that championed a Biblical worldview.
As products of Christian education, and with four sons of their own, they have a passion to help
foster excellence and convenience for the modern, busy family AND happy, healthy, confident children
with strong faith foundations.
Together, they started Citizen Heights with a vision to build a church where hope is inspired,
limitations are removed, and every person is welcomed to experience God’s possible for their lives.
They have a unique calling to champion unity, in an often-divided city. They’ve watched in wonder,
as God has gathered the diversity of their international city, into His family, and the Citizen
Heights community. Over time, the church has grown to include a DC Campus in northwest corner of the
city, a thriving Online Campus with an international following, and most recently, a Virginia Campus
in the Dulles Corridor of Northern Virginia.
Michael & Heather have been married for 26 years and have four amazing sons ranging in age from
20-12. They love family time and enjoying all the sights, sounds and tastes Washington, D.C. offers.
In their free time you’ll find them riding dirt bikes, or camping and hiking. They’re also seriously
big fans of all the Washington sports teams and hope you’ll join them cheering for the home teams!
